This year’s theme “Thrive through Turbulence” focuses specifically on how the petrochemical industry can adapt to challenges such as geopolitical shifts, unstable energy markets, and the drive for sustainability.

Arkem Chemicals will participate in the 59th EPCA in Berlin this year. From 22 to 25 September 2025 we will meet our partners, our customers and new potentials.

During meetings, strategies are discussed to increase agility, resilience, and innovation within our business, so that it can still flourish in turbulent times.

Arkem Chemicals BV makes an impact

Every year, we make a donation to the company or institution that best aligns with the theme of World Environment Day. This year’s theme is #Beat Plastic Pollution

Our donation to The Ocean Cleanup will help clean an area of ocean the size of approximately 12 football fields, or intercept over 4,100 plastic bottles from rivers.

The Ocean Cleanup was founded in 2013 by Dutch inventor Boyan Slat at the age of 18 in his hometown of Delft. This non-profit organization develops and scales up technologies to rid the world’s oceans of plastic. The organization’s goal is to put itself out of business once the oceans are clean.
